I have a student with a PS2 that read discs and plays for awhile, then it hums and proceeds to scratch the disc. I recall this is something like a $5 part (a white piece of plastic that has worn down). Anyhow, I have neither the know-how, nor the desire to fix it and the student already has a new system so he is looking to sell this one. System/AV cable/AC adaptor included to the first reasonable offer. I'm thinking ballpark of $10 + shipping would do it.
