Woah. Here's a vid of Forza 2 being played with 4 monitors at the GDC. Apparently the game will support up to 5 monitors but the catch is that you need one 360 console for each monitor:

Hey, thats a pretty cool feature! :) Too bad it requires 1 console for each screen, so its only something for the real entusiasts. Dont think many "normal" gamers would buy 5 consoles and 5 screens for 1 game hehe. But its very useable for simulators etc. so ye, a great feature :)

I love the idea, but the need for extra consoles seems pointless in its purpose.

Wow! That's fucking sweet!
To bad the guy playing wasn't a good driver :)

When I first saw it, I thought....Man, that is fecking sweet!!!. Then I couldn't help but think what it would be like with 4 projectors. I mean, can you freaking imagine that? The cool thing about the projectors too, is that you could align the screens so that they are absolutely seamless, with no borders of anykind between them, but setup would be a logistical nightmare. You couldn't use a single wall as a screen (like I do now), you'd have to make seperate screens out of blackout cloth and some type of industrial panelling that you could get at home depot.
Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, maybe projectors wouldn't even work. The light beams might end up overlapping each other. Still, it would be fun to be a multimillionaire and actually attempt something like that.

Well, when you consider that it would be rendering from 4 different viewports as opposed to just 1, there's really 4 times the work going on, 4 times the graphic rendering, calculations etc... to put all of that burden onto one console would probably be a serious chopfest in terms of framerates.
There might be more opportunities to use this than you'd think. Like this guy I work with plays in clan matches often on 360 with his friends. At the house they do these things in there's usually no less than 4 360s on hand, and 4 displays. So if someone happened to bring Forza 2 along, they could probably do this just by pooling together their consoles and displays.
I think it's a pretty neat little feature.

I think that it looks cool but its totally useless in the real world IMO

Yeah, I agree that 99.99% of the people that buy Forza 2 will never use this. I'm sure the developers realize this but it was probably something they were messing around with in the office and decided to leave in the game. Still a cool feature though.

My favorite part about that was the small monitor they used for the rear view mirror.

this reminds me of how I really want to do this with Forza but I've been holding off until I could find some used Xboxes cheaper (like around $50 a pop or something). Pick up two more capture cards, two more xboxes, set up a triple monitor setup on the PC and have the left and right monitors actually on my left and right.....yeeeessss......
(well ok, maybe I'll use separate PCs per xbox instead of cramming all of those capture cards into one and delving into IRQ hell)
...then in 5-7 years when 360s are cheap, I'll do it all over again with Forza 2 :D

Unless I'm mistaken, the guy in the video really is using 3 monitors. I guess they count the 4th as the rear view mirror, but I think coming up with 3 monitors and 3 Xbox 360's isn't that hard. I can easily see having 2 of my buddies over and attempting this. Each person would need to bring their 360, a copy of Forza 2, and a LCD monitor. It would be ideal if each LCD monitor was the same type, probably preferably a widescreen LCD monitor. Like if each dude had a 19 inch widescreen LCD monitor.
Sure, it's kinda crazy and dumb, but F it, might as well try it just for the hell of it.
