I don't know why I'm so stoked for this, but once I found out I could choose protected OR unprotected sex, Fable 2 immediately shot up to my most anticipated game.

That's funny, because after reading that article yesterday...I had the exact opposite reaction.
People can (and should) play whatever game they want. However...there are times when you need to step back and save whatever dignity you have left. Playing a game where you have "sex" is one of those times. Truly and utterly pathetic.
I wonder if there's going to be an achievement for getting it on.

Like anything else, it depends on context and how it's implemented. In Phantasy Star III you played through several generations of your own family, so obviously there was some sex going on somewhere...

I understand what you mean, but Peter Molyneux was hinting last week that the sex in Fable 2 will be unlike anything seen previously. I'm thinking it'll be a little more substantial than just generic "mating" to produce offspring. He repeatedly used the phrase "having sex". Maybe it was just to get his game in the headlines...I don't know.

Damn, I didn't even make the connection, but I'm certain that's why I'm so stoked, like some weird Freudian thing from my childhood. Playing Golgo 13 on the NES was an epihany for me as a kid, I just couldn't believe that bad mofo was getting laid in a game. I've since accumulated this insance collection of Golgo 13 merchandise, and I swear to god, it all started when that guy got some 'tang in "Top Secret Episode".
