Favorite PSP game?

Having just gotten a PSP, mostly for homebrew but after playing it for a bit I'm really enjoying it so I'm looking to pick up a game or two. So far I've got Wipeout Pure, Snoopy Vs the Red Baron and Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops.

So what is your favorite PSP game?

Even though it was a launch title, Ridge Racer is still the best racing game on the PSP. It's still available at retail...and is cheap.

damn so many choices, lately Burnout Dominator has been getting alot of run, Ridge Racer is sweet, the ATV games play well. MK Unchained is a great port, even surprisingly San Fran Rush, is a great port, lets see what types of games do you like/play?

I've had Metal Slug Anthology and Lumines II in my PSP a lot lately, but Kollon, WSOP: Tournament of Champions and Street Fighter Alpha 3 have all been in there. I wish I could afford some of the imports I've seen around here, but most all of them are fifty bucks, and they really shouldn't be that high. lol

The 1st Socom is the best for online fun. i still play that game today and there is still alot of people playing

It's a tough call between Lumines 2 and Mercury Meltdown, but Lumines takes it.

lets see what types of games do you like/play?
I like pretty much everything, sports is a personal favorite but I find that it normally doesn't lend itself to on the run gaming. I bought it mostly for the trips into work so a game with a save anytime feature or one that doesn't take too long to play is a real plus. It takes me about 45 min to get to work so that gives you a rough time frame.

I play more imports on the PSP than I do domestic stuff. Mainly because I dig playing oddball stuff (even if it does kinda suck).

IQ Mania is one *I always* keep on my memory stick because it's just so good. DJ Max Portable is on there a lot too. Been playing Pilot Academy a lot lately too as well as Myst.

If you can find a script and you like action RPGs the I say import Princess Crown all the way. It's the best game on the system and it will never see a US release. Why? you ask, because Atlus lost the code. That was a sad day for every US RPG lover.

Of the ones I got, I'd have to say, "Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX," was a hell of a great game. I beat it with everybody except Evil Ryu, Eagle, and Ingrid.

streetfighter alpha 3 is a great choice, for sports, the MLB 07 game can't be beat... the last madden was nice, and for FPS's the medal of honor game ROCKED and I heard good things about the brothers in arms game as well..

I gonna definitely say that Me & My Katamari is my favorite PSP game. I mean you just gotta love the Prince and the King of all Cosmos.

So many great games on the psp, i love it.

Mostly been playing Sega Genesis Collection and Untold Legends myself. The Loco Roco demo is really cool also, I gotta get that game.

If you have someone that has a psp and you can play with them Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror is awesome, and GRAND THEFT AUTO LIBERTY CITY STORIES IS BAD ASS IN MULTIPLAYER!

Really you can't go wrong much I think cause the psp has some kick ass games.

Guilty Gear Judgement JP version (it has XX slash on it)
Tekken Dark Ressurection
Bounty Hounds
Me & my Katamari (the game i bought the system for)
Sid Mier's Pirates (awesome port)
Gitaroo man lives!

I've been playing a lot of Field Commander, which plays a lot like Advance Wars, but without the cartoony units. It's good fun, and the best strategy game on the PSP right now.

I also just picked up LOTR: Tactics, but have only played it for a few hours. My first impressions are that it is another solid strategy game, but I haven't played enought to comment.

I also bought the system for Me & My Katamari, and it is probably my favorite game on the system. I also really like Mega Man: Powered Up.

After that I'd go with Gitaroo Man Lives!, Work Time Fun (which I might be the only person in the world who likes), and Loco Roco.
