anyone know where I can get a turbo duo S-video modded and perhaps region modded? OSG doesn't perform S-video mods on a duo and multimods seems to be dead.

I THINK DP member D lite may do it.

Multimods is D-Lite I believe. He's been busy, but you could probably get ahold of him over at Neo-Geo.com

We (OSG) hope to offer it in the future, but the poster is correct, we do not offer it right now.

It's too bad Matthew Ross has retired from doing these mods. He could have done both of them for you. I had him do a RGB mod plus region mod on a normal US TG-16 deck. I use it with a CD attatchment and with an Arcade Card Pro, I can play everything in RGB except SuperGrafx Hu cards.

Is S-Video going to give you that huge of a jump over composite? I'm sure it's going to be a benefit, but the TG-16 has pretty good composite output. Unlike the Sega Genesis which has horrible composite output. The Genesis S-Video mod makes a ton of sense considering how lackluster the composite output is. I'm not so sure about the Turbo. I can tell you that RGB with the Turbo is pretty spectacular. Alot of people simply don't realize how much color the Turbo could put on the screen. If I'm not mistaken, it could simultaneously display the same number of colors onscreen that a SNES can. The SNES can choose from a much larger palette of colors, but I'm pretty sure they display the same number simultaneously.
