Soon the keyboard vs joypad war will be settled. Ha ha HA
Although I am not sure the pc people will want to pony up to play.

Its a good feature, but in FPS games and RTS (the few that excist), PC users with mouse and keyboard will have a huge advantage.

Does this mean they are actually going to pair-up 360 players with PC players in online multiplayer?!? That's just stupid. No way someone with a 360 controller can compete against someone using a mouse + keyboard, especially in games like Halo 2 and Rainbow 6 Vegas.

MS claims that the controller is just as good, especially in Shadowrun. I have my doubts. I wonder if it will only be a matter of time before the 360 users starts to complain. "Everyone is cheating, i get owned all the time!" lol LOL

I totally disagree. You can play either just as good with practice.

Until they make an analog stick that's not self-centering, you can't compare the kind of precision you get with a mouse.

I am sure some of the xbox live halo 2 players with 1,000 hrs of play time would disagree. There are some masterful people that play with the controller.
We will know soon enough:)

You can when the games have enough slop that the mouse doesnt make a difference. Don't get me wrong I prefer the mouse/keyboard setup, but I think you'll be surprised as to how many console gamers can compete.

I think it is a good start. There are so many possibilitites. Gotta give ms credit. I think the vista is to give them time to work out the kinks because if it was xp,2000 this might cause server overload on halo3 or some big game Ha ha. It will be interesting to see 2 to 3yrs from now. I do believe that at some point xp and 2000 will be allowed.
