Alrighty... there's this one pinball game whose name I can't remember, but I recall it was pretty decent... and kind of creepy. The only two things I distinctly remember were:

A. A table with a large android being constructed on it, and
B. A swirling background that would always be changing colors

I'm pretty sure it was for the PC... hell, I might even have it lying around somewhere, but I can't for the life of me remember. Does anyone know which one I'm looking for here?

Kinda sounds like Epic Pinball to me.

Epic Pinball is exactly what comes to mind. I played HOURS of that when I was younger. I believe I still have that game on a floppy at my parents house. If you wanna copy, I could probably track it down for you.

Later,
Chrome...

BULLSEYE!!! Thanks, fellas! That right there is the one. I'm sure I have it lying around somewhere... I'll have to root through my old floppies. Arigato! ^_^

However, I'm reminded of yet another PC pinball game similar to this one... and once again, all I can recall are two things:

1. A fantasy table with a bigass dragon on it
2. A creepy table with a scary vampire face on it... I think the table was called "Blood"

I kind of recall that I at least had the shareware of both of these games... maybe the full versions as well. Man, I need to search through for them, give the new DOSbox a worthy test. :D

EDIT: Nevermind, I found that one out to be "Silverball."

A few of us were debating if it was possible to "make the android live" on the shareware version of that game. None of us were ever able to, and i have at least a dozen hours in it...

I'm 95% sure it was possible. Because in my head, I remember doing it once. The full Epic Pinball gave you several more tables, so they gave you this one complete as a whistle wetter. I know I never bought the full game because this table gave me enough good play.

Besides, you can always do it by cheating.

Back when I was living in Indiana, I found a Goodwill that had stacks of the special, boxed Enigma-only version of the game for 99 cents each. I really wish I hadn't passed one of those up, if for no other reason than because the box had singularly bad design: the back had a huge picture of the empty playfield!
