Good news for anyone hoping for a DVD release of the SMB3 cartoon series: Joystiq reports that it's on its way (http://www.joystiq.com/2007/03/16/super-mario-bros-3-cartoon-coming-to-dvd/).

"Oogtar like presents!"
The big question on my mind is, will the Milli Vanilli episode still have their name & songs mentioned, or will it be the re-dubbed version after they got caught lip-syncing?
Wiki:
Milli Vanilli and some of their music featured in an episode of the cartoon series Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3. The episode, entitled "Kootie Pie Rocks", premiered (October 27, 1990) two weeks before the scandal hit, prompting the producers to quickly replace the music with stock music and delete references to the band's name in reruns and home video releases.

Am I the only one that finds it ironic that their songs will be dubbed over?

This is great news. I have the 2 Mario sets that are out already, and I'll be sure to be getting this one.

Sweetness. Out of the three Mario series, Mario 3 was my favorite.
But dear God, I hope they never release the abomination that was "Super Mario World". Even at twelve years old, I knew that cartoon was crud from the first episode. When the title sequence was better than the actual episode, that's when you knew there was trouble.

I'd be surprised if that didn't eventually see a release.
