Yeah, it's a bad sign when you can't outsell a generation-old portable system with your new blockbuster

I'm surprised to see the original Xbox on the list. Where can you buy them new or factory refurbished these days? I haven't seen one in nearly a year.

No suprise tho. GBA is like 7-10 times cheaper, its a handheld, got thousands of games and the games are cheap.

Gee, and everybody's been telling me that graphics trumped price and games all the time! Imagine that.

Actually the number that surprised me the most was that of the PSP. Everyone keeps saying that it's not selling at all compaired to the DS but 7,076,000 is nothing to sneeze at. I

No, hence the "Imagine that".

I was looking for a rolling-eyes smiley to indicate my scorn and derision, but I all of a sudden realized there isn't a click-to-add smiley section...

I know, mine was the same way hehe ;)
But the thing about GBA selling more is no suprise. However, i am suprised that GBA is still selling so strong. I Japan its hardly selling at all.

Any way you slice it, that is an awful low number (less than 500) even if Microsoft stopped manufacturing the system and it should have sold out of stores by now. I wonder how many are still out there in actual department stores (NOT places like Gamestop, etc.).

Not everyone. I have a DS, but know that the PSP sells well too. Nothing like healthy competition!

It's kind of surprising to see Diddy Kong Racing DS in the top three. Then again, it did hold the "Most Anticipated Game" record in the Guinness Book of World Records for a short time when it came out on the N64.

Wow...the PS2 is outselling the PS3. And it's a 6-7 year old system! Looks like people aren't buying the PS3 due to it's $600 price tag, and going with the cheaper, $130 PS2 (which has a huge library of games, by the way). Guitar Hero 2 is probably another reason why the PS2 is still selling well now..that game just rocks (no pun intended).
