I have 75-80 PS1 games (none of them are sports).
My second most would be the Saturn, with 40 games.
Im trying to buy more but I im in college so I have a tight budget right now

For sheer numbers it would be the Atari 2600, I used to find them by the box full in the 90's for next to nothing. Next up would probably be the NES, Genesis, and ColecoVision (this of course doesn't count all the C64 floppies kicking around somewhere).

I have more than 600 carts for my NES.
I have 1400 titles for SFC (so far, only PS1 or PS2 are systems with more different tiles)

Somewhere between 1200-1500 titles for the C64, with the Cube running second at just over 600.

PS2 with 111. If we're talking retro specifically, next in line are PS1 (81) and Megadrive (56).

NES with 115 unique titles, second is 2600 with 95 unique. If counting doubles, I probably have more 2600 games, all those Combats and Pac-Mans.

03-18-2007, 10:28 AM
Probably PS2 with 304 unique titles.
Runner up would be NES, though I don't have an exact count on how many of those I have left. I used to have over 300 but last I checked I had closer to 260...I'd LOVE to know where the hell those other games walked off to :(
Used to have a bunch of PS1 games too, but I have under a 100 of those anymore.
Getting close to 100 Xbox titles (91 so far).

It depends really. If you mean actual store bought carts/tapes/disks then it's probably the 2600. I've had that system for the better part of three decades. If it's just games period then it'd be either the C64 of Plus/4 which I've dl'ed literally thousands of games for.
I'm still trying to catalog all of my "real hard copy" games on RFGen but I've only made a minor headway. It's unbelievably tedious and time consuming. :|

I've probably got around 600 to 700 games for the Amiga, then I'd say the Atari 2600 would be next. Probably 150 cartridges, but if you include my Sean Kelly 256-in-1 cart, then a lot more. :)

250+ NES games. Everything else is below 200. :( At least I have something different to play every now and then. lol
205 Genesis
108 DC games
55 Xbox
53 Saturn
52 Sega CD
44 PS1
Everything else runs between 25-35 games (PS2, GC, etc.).

Genesis:

Then comes the NES and SNES. I'm getting up there with other systems but it's pretty spread out. I'd like to get back into buying large Saturn bulks, but not at this time since there's other priorities than gaming ATM.

Genesis with 155, including CD and 32x games. If for some reason I'm not allowed to lump those together, then it's Saturn with 136 games and counting.

I've got 120+ of just carts, and about 30 brand new and sealed, including some rare originals like mario 64 and wave race.

I have 78 N64 games (just purchased Magical Tetris yesterday), which isn't bad considering most of what I stumble across I already own and a lot of places seem to be lacking in titles I want as of late. I'm looking into doing the "cover project" thing and box the 77 loose carts I have and printing out covers. For now I have 4 of those nifty N64 cart drawers that hold 24 carts each.
Oh, and both Mario 64 and Wave Race 64 are quite common, they're great games though. :)

I know my list isn't up to date but I think it goes something like this:
~340 NES Carts - not that I really play them but when they're 99c each it's hard to pass em up.
~300 2600 Carts - and it'll prolly stay that way since I'm starting to hit the R4 and above level.
~150 GC Games - Like Mayhem, this is my fav currentgen (sorta) system to collect for.
Maybe I'll do some organization today and figure out where I'm at.

I've probably got roughly 50 games per console/handheld, as I'm really only interested in collecting the puzzle type games. And there aren't that many of them, which is good for my wallet I suppose.

Number 1 for me is the NES, with about 500 games. After that, probably the PS2 (with about 175 games or so). The only other system I have over 100 games for is the Genesis (about 150). I have games for a lot of systems, but in most cases I have less than 50 games for each of them.
On the other hand, the system I have the *least* games for is the game.com. I got one as part of a bundle of other consoles, and it came with one game. I haven't bothered to complete the collection, even though it's supposed to be cheap and easy.

Off the top of my head, I would say around 1250+ ps1 games and 900+ genesis/megadrive games and around 600+ saturn USA/Japanese. Rest of collections are smaller. I don't the exact number as I keep a game spreadsheet at home with all the details

Common? Sealed, unopened, in mint condition, with the factory vertical seal on the back of the box from 11 years ago? What about a sealed Mortal Kombat 4? Good luck finding it new ANYWHERE. Not even ebay.

The most games I have is definitely on the PS1: 67 games! Of course it takes up more space in my CD case due to some games (like Final Fantasy VII and Driver 2) having more than 1 disc.
Other systems I have a lot of games for:
Xbox: 48 games
Nintendo 64: 47 games
Gamecube: 32 Games

I'm pretty close to hitting 200 PS1 games, but that's a combination of both US and Japanese titles. If you include dupes, I'm closer yet. The only other system I have over 100 games for is NES, which is slightly under 150, or slightly over if you add in my Famicom games. If you add my SNES and Super Famicom games together, I'm sitting right at 99. :P The dupes would push me over, though.
I've never had the desire to put all my focus on collecting for any particular system, so all my games are pretty spread out.

772 for the NES would be my most.
And then I have around 250 all for the SNES, N64 and the Dreamcast

Dreamcast, at 68 games. This number does include Goat Store releases (Cool Herders), unreleased games (Prop Arena, Half Life & PBA Bowling) and homebrew (Beats of Rage original w/ Yakumo's cover).
It's also the console I have the most peripherals for: Twin Sticks, Official Sega Lightgun, Fishing rod and arcade sticks (one modded with Sanwas, other is untouched), Madcatz Wheel, a few spare pads and about 7 VMUs.
Just need the Samba de Amigo boxset with Maraccas now. And I can't wait for further Goat Store releases; I wanna play Age of the Beast. I should probably burn some more BoR mods too.
I'd also like conversions of Exzeal and Melty Blood. Pretty please.....

Definitely Atari 2600, for which I have around 400 unique games. It used to be C64, but I've seriously trimmed that collection down over the past couple years.

I've got 120+ of just carts, and about 30 brand new and sealed, including some rare originals like mario 64 and wave race.
I've got every US title except for ISS 2000, including all the rental-only games. I'm still missing 21 manuals and 27 boxes. I also have 5 of the display unit cartridges.
My largest single system collection is the PS1 with 1006 unique games, then NES with 584 and PS2 with 575.
