Hey I have been lurking here for years! I wanted to make my first post pictures of my complete (+variants) dreamcast collections once I finish it. But I have been looking for a game for around 3 weeks now and need some help.

The game is for the apple II and I remember it is:
-black and white
-stick figures
-side scroller
-each screen you make a decision, such as to jump a pit or fall into it then it animates and hilarity ensues
-I also remember that one screen had a blade pendulum that you had to run under, I couldnt time it cause it was too fast!

If anyone can help I would greatly appriciate it!

That sounds a lot like Prince Of Persia.

EDIT: Or Karateka, they both had a similar gameplay/feel.

Very similar to PoP, except it wasn't 'real time.' Like to run under the pendulum you just timed it and pressed the space bar, and the protagonist would run under himself.

oo I just remembered when you came to, I think, the first pit you could jump or fall into it. If you fell you were alright, if you jumped you would make it half way over and still fall down it but this time get chewed up in a grinder on the right side of the chasm! I cant wait to find this game again:)

Do you have any idea where you got this? I remember at some computer shows back when I was a kid seeing some early demos / shareware things. A lot of people could program their own crap for the Apple II. If it was one of these, it may be tough.

I played it at a friends house years ago, and only got to get like 5 or 6 screens in. I wanted to find it to beat it.

Thats another thing I was thinking that it could be a homebrew game. grrr that would suck!

I, uh, found an archive of disk images *cough* complete tosec *cough* I do not really want to dl it and try playing all gazillion games then ebaying, but it is an option.
