I dont know bout you but for some reason Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! Til this day still gives me trouble. I run through any other game from mario tocrackdown. but why is it that Mr.Sandman is so hard?? even on the psp i get the same thing its all BS.....Its like he waits there for you to swing then theres 1 2 3....and the Ref's starts counting......Mr. Sandman the only one who gives me trouble.....Mike Tysons easy but Sandman does not take naps to often...

Really? I've always thought Sandman was the easiest of the last few guys. I've had more problems with Soda Pop, Macho Man and Tyson. Hell, even the second Don Flamenco is more of a headache because he's so boring to fight.

Mike tyson easy? I have never seen anyone just sit down and beat mike 1st time. Everytime someone beat him it took so many trys I fell asleep watching:) You must be one bad dude.

I always had trouble with everybody from sandman and up. It is indeed kind of difficult unless you work at it a bit.

I can beat the whole game without losing once. Most guys I can beat in the 1st round. It's all about the patterns and practice, practice, practice. Tyson seemed invincible to me and my crew in the 80's though. :D

Yeah i think thats the whole thing. if you wanna beat anyone in that game you just gotta figure out the pattern that works. after that its just a matter of doing it at the right time. and i too can beat it all at once sometimes in less than 30 min.

I struggled with Tyson.. in like 1988.

I remember playing him over and over until I figured it out. After that I could beat him anytime.

Today though it's a different story. I probably gotta play him once or twice until I remember how, and also get the timing down again.

I always had the most trouble with Soda Pop and Macho Man. It's kinda like... you know how they both have the same build, and kinda the same movements? I don't know what it was, but just the way they moved and the really weird timing of their punches always threw me way off.

Tyson was a pain too of course, but that fight was basically all about rote pattern memorization.

Hey, Sandman can be pretty tricky. That triple uppercut still makes me piss my pants until today. I still think Tyson's the undisputable asshole to beat, though... boy, it sure was a proud day when I beat the entire game without losing and no wins by decision. 14-0, 14 KOs: a.k.a., total victoly. :D

Here's the screwy thing, though... I find Super Macho Man to be easier than some of the World Circuit opponents. Despite the pressure of the multi-spin punch, I have beaten SMM TWICE WITHOUT TAKING A SINGLE HIT. I don't know what to tell you on that one... either I'm lucky, or his jiggling man-boobs just make me want to punch his ass all the more. O_O
