Have anyone played this game..I only played it in stores in 93 or so, Should it be released on the Xbox 360

around the time it was released, I thought it was a very fun game. But now if you look at it. There is only 1 gun to use, health and ammo pick ups, and pretty plain and pixely levels.
I personally have always loved the game, but as far as a re-release, maybe a $5 live arcade game would be cool. I'd personally would rather have the original Wolfenstein 3D (best 3do FPS).

I used to have this game, not too much fun. I would be surprised to see it re-released.

I think any 3DO games on the 360 would lose their 3DO charm. I like Escape but its the last game I'd ever expect to see on XBLA.

If you like this genre of games (Wolfenstein, Doom, etc.) then this game is okay.
It was good for its time, but the graphics, as have been mentioned before, are very pixelated.
As far as a straight port, probably not. If the graphics were enhanced and some additonal features added it could be possible, but I don't think there is that much demand for it.

Yeah they should make that instead of Halo 3. Seriously dude, how many people out there do you think are waiting around for a sequel to Escape From Monster Manor? How many people have ever even played it? How many people have ever even *heard of it*?

Exactly. I own the game but haven't gotten around to playing it-- although I am familiar with its content.
The chance of it being released for XBLA: -10%. Yes, a negative percent. There's a better chance of Microsoft buying its rights and re-releasing it for 3DO as a joke. If anything it would end up on the VC, but even that is not likely.
XBLA is mostly for arcadish-type games. In fact, if a game on there originally had a version in arcades, then 99% of the time that is the version that is ported to XBLA. Contra is the arcade version, not the famous NES version. The recent TMNT release is from the arcade, not NES version. Paperboy is the arcade version, despite it's release to other systems. Pac-Man, Defender, and on and on, are all the arcade versions (with minor technical upgrades). There are a few original games, and even fewer non-arcade ports. Even the majority of those ports are from the PC (e.g. Doom). The console-to-XBLA ports are quite rare. One that does come to mind is the upcoming Castlevania: Symphony of the Night from PS1. But that has a good reason for re-release: it's a classic game. EFMM is okay by 3DO standards (which doesn't say too much), but by no means a classic. Alright, so maybe like -25%. Honestly, I'm confused as to how this idea popped into someone's mind..... -37.59%.
