whoo hoo! my TG-16 game library grew from 2 to 12 yesterday. I actually scored some games at a thrift store.

nothing rare but here's what I got:

Keith Courage in Alpha Zones
Power Golf
Tricky Kick
TV Sports BAsketball
TV Sports Football
TV Sports Hockey
Champion Forever Boxing
Super Volleyball
World Class Baseball
World Court Tennis

all had the jewel cases, clips, and sleeves for the hu cards. $2.95 each. it's the first time I've ever seen TG-16 stuff in the wild.

I agree, I never find TG-16 stuff in thw wild,...every once and a while I'll find some in a used game store, but even then I don't find any CD or duo games.

It's a MIIIIIIIIIIIIRACLE!!! Seriously, I've found a whopping two bare huCards and 3 TG16 decks in the wild, as well as 1 boxed Turbo Pad and 1 Turbo Tap. That's it. And that's in...8 years of looking all over the country, and here in Canada too. That's an amazing find, even if they are common! :)

Cool find-all I have ever found was a lone turbo pad.

I see the occasional Keith's Courage but thats usually it. One guy I deal with has a TG-CD add-on with system 2.0 card. The CD unit is broke though. I have been meaning to pick it up and get a new CD unit and use it for trade bait.

Finding TG-16/Duo games is a rarity in itself, almost like finding Vectrex. From when TG-16 vanished from various stores all I've found in the wild was a complete R-Type, 3 Turbopad (one broken) and 1 AC adapter for TG-16 (not for TurboCD attachment)

I did pick up a number of new games through Radio Shack a few years ago when they had RSU station. I haven't seen any RSU station for a year now, are they still around?

I've found TG-16 stuff in the wild once. And that once (a garage sale) comprises my entire collection. A deck, Neutopia 1 and 2, Dungeon Explorer, Double Dungeons, Twin Lap (i think- its a racing game with rpg elements), wires, 3 controllers and a Turbotap.

I'm lucky I found a complete set like that, becuase it's been bone dry since, and that was a year ago.

Hunting wise, TG16 stuff seems rarer than the guides suggest. HARD TO FIND!!!

I remember this Canadian kid's game show that used to come on saturday mornings in '88, "5, 4, 3, 2, Run!", it was a cross between trivia, obstacle course running, and of course, like all kids shows, getting goop dumped on you.

Anyway, the point is they ALMOST ALWAYS gave away a TG-16 with Bonk as a grand prize... I used to love watching the short clips of the TG in action, wanting one so bad... then I got my SMS and things went from there.

To this day, I'd STILL like to get myself a TG-16 somehow, just becuase I pined after one so bad back in the day. If not for that, I wouldn't want one at all...

Hmmm.. so advertising DOES work on weak minds...
