WTB: Complete US version Neo Geo Pocket Color games [Archive]

Well, it's that time of the year again, and, once again, I'm looking for Neo Geo Pocket Color games to give my boyfriend and help him get his collection slightly closer to complete. :)

I'm looking for any of the following games:

Crush Roller
Dive Alert: Becky's Version
Magical Drop Pocket
Neo Cherry Master Color
Neo Turf Masters

However, they must be complete and they must be the US versions, which means they'll have the ESRB rating on the cartridge and box and such.

Complete NGPC is hard to come by. You may not get many responses here.

Also, to give you a heads up, Magical Drop Pocket will be impossible to find, though well worth it. It's rarer than every other US NGPC game by far.

I'm always looking for the NGPC complete JP titles, and they're hard to come by and usually you miss auctions online. Although I don't have any of the titles you're listing I can suggest that if you go to game or anime conventions you can generally stumble across at least one boxed complete NGPC game. Just something to keep in mind.

Ok, of your list, I have the following, in mint and complete condition:

Dark Arms: Beast Busters 1999 (very close to mint - slight bend near bottom of box, otherwise sharp corners) SOLD
Neo Mystery Bonus SOLD

As for notable JPN NGPC games, I have the following complete and mint:

Biomotor Unitron II
Densha de Go 2
King of Fighters: Battle de Paradise
Dynamite Slugger
Cool Cool Jam
Big Tournament Golf (JPN Clamshell)

I also have a complete NGPC JPN Wireless Communication Unit and KoF R-2 white-label demo cartridge (JPN) for sale.

I have other titles (US, EU, & JPN) as well. As I'm pretty picky about what I buy, most of the titles I have are complete and mint. Feel free to make offers through PM. :)

Yup, that was the last box I needed to complete my NGPC collection. Puyo Pop is a tough one as well.

Good luck with this one Aussie..... It only took me just over 2 years to get one complete (not that I found but one extra loose one during that time). I ended up finding 2 in 2 weeks, and my second and MINT one came out of the neogeo store. But like Vec said, i'd hit up the N-G forums for your best bet.

Yeah, I cruised around the selling forum there, but I didn't find anyone selling any of the games I'm looking to get at the moment. For now I'm searching a bit casually since there are still a couple gambling games and what not to get out of the way, and I don't imagine they'll be too bad to find. I'm sure I'll be going insane with Magical Drop Pocket when that's all that's left, though. :P And probably Puyo Pop to a lesser extent as well.

Darn, I just barely lost that Magical Drop Pocket at the last second. :( I wish I had been checking eBay earlier because apparently another seller was listing a copy over and over with a Buy It Now, and it didn't sell until he finally lowered it to $16. Doesn't seem like it's pulling in much money, but it can still be a pain to find. I hope I don't have to wait forever for another opportunity.

Anyway, I did find one of the games on my list, so now it's down to 5. Since I'm closing in on the full U.S. set, I think I'll start looking into completing the few loose games we have. I'm not going to list them out since my priority is still with getting those 5 games, but if anyone has U.S. Neo Geo Pocket Color packaging without the carts to sell, let me know and I'll see if it's something I need.

Keep hitting up ebay, i've been seeing some incredible deals as of late on complete NGPC stuff. Remember, buying lots usually means selling what you don't need for what you paid for the lot in the first place and getting the rest for free.

Thanks. :) Yeah, lots have helped me out a ton in the past. I remember getting one lot for what was probably no more than 30 or 40 bucks, and I think it had around 10 complete games, including both Card Fighters, both Metal Slugs, and a bunch of good stuff. I think there were three dupes in the bunch, and I made all the cash back. I always search both titles and descriptions when I look for NGPC games, but these last few don't want to show up in any lots lately, at least not complete.

I did just nab Gals Fighters by itself, though, for a price that seemed unusually low. It was Buy it Now only at around 17 bucks + shipping, which I figured would be snapped up even at that price, but I threw him an offer and got it for about $15 shipped. Not bad at all, I think.
