Hi everyone! I'm new on this site, and have several games that I cannot seem to find listed in the Online Rarity Guide. I'm wondering if it's possible to provide proof of them, so that they may be added to your guide. I can send pics or whatever you require.

One example is I own a game cartridge called "Fun With Music" by Epyx, for Commodore Vic-20 (it is complete too). Thanks for any help you can provide.

As Vic20 guide editor, it should be in my lists as I own it too. I'll go check, I might have forgotten to add it because it's not really a game (hence it would be in section 8 under "non games and demos").

ive had trouble with this in the past too. there are several releases, especially for the computer type systems(coco, vic 20, commodore) that are learning apparati or other such things. someone had a question about 'my paint' for sega cd the other day. you just have to search by system and not check the 'us game releases' tab.

oddly enough, 'mario paint' for snes is classified as a game, but i think thats simpy because there is little else in the systems library to qualify as a 'non-game'.

yeah that was me qbertandernie. thats one of the reasons i felt the 'my paint' for sega cd should be listed as a game, because mario paint is.

As it turns out Fun With Music isn't in there, so I guess I'll go add a line for it :)

In the beginning everything did get lumped into sections 1 and 2 because there was no section 8. Once that was created, I moved cartridges such as Music Machine, Visible Solar System, paint programs etc... anything that didn't involve a "game" in some way. So utilities, painters, music creators, programming tools etc go in section 8 for me.

I suppose the difference between consoles and machines such as the C64 and Vic20 is the far there ARE a lot of utility stuff that would enter section 8 and bulk it out rather than the odd entry for something like the SNES and people would no doubt wonder where Mario Paint was IF you didn't put it in section 1! But that's just my thoughts here.

Hopefully section 8 will make it to the printed guide anyhow...

I also own a Protecto 80 voice synthesizer for the Vic 20, can you please add that one too. And if you want some Frogman pics for your site, let me know.

I'm slowly adding utility stuff to the C64 and Vic20 sections, stuff I think people would have heard of and used. May get around to adding that one in due course.

As for Fun with Music, it's been added as a rarity 7 (yeah it's quite hard to find). And Frogman, I'm one of the couple of only other people who own it so thanks at least for the offer on pics there :)

What's the policy on pirated carts? For example, I own a 110 in 1 NES cart, it actually seems fairly well done. How come I cannot seem to find it listed in your Online Guide? Another example, some 4 in 1 (pretty sure pirated) Famicon carts are not listed here that I have.

Pirates are generally not listed because there's so many of them. There are a few specific cases I can think of where they are...
