Hey, no reason you can't join us now! Pitch the idea to your folks! A lot of us get drunk at night but there's plenty to do if you're there with your family. In fact Vegas has become more of a family vacation place lately. Here's the official CGE "things to do" page.
Show this to your folks and hopefully they'll go for it.

You'll have a great time.

I don't think I'm going to be leaving my room that much. :P
Seriously though, last time I was in Vegas I saw Cirque du Solei, hung out at Gameworks (I guarantee none of you have seen anything funnier than my mom trying to play Manx TT :) ), ate at the All-Star Cafe, saw the Treasure Island pirate fight, bumped into Don King at the MGM Grand, all sorts of stuff. I'd love to check out the "magic dinner show" (or whatever the official name is) at Caesar's Palace...my bro saw it and he said it was awesome.

Watching my mom play san fransisco rush was the BEST. I swear to god the whole time I thought the pedal was broken, but it turns out my mom was just goint the SPEED LIMIT the whole time! I wound up pushing the pedal to the medal while my mom yelled "Nathan stop it! someone's going to get hurt!"
LOL LOL LOL LOL

I'm like you bro, I'm only 18 myself, so I can't do anything "fun" (i.e. get liquered up LEGALLY  ) but there is plenty to do: The Fremont Street Experience is amazing to watch, Gameworks is fun (only DDR USA? Cheap bastards!), Circus Circus, the list goes on and on.
But just curious, anyone know a place with a newer DDR machine than USA? That version sucked so badly!!!

My first time in the states was CGEPXO 2002 and I was quite shocked by the amount of checks on age limits for alcohol and cigarettes!! I've never been asked for identification and been buying this gear since I was 14 which is very easy in England :-D
I wonder are there any "Alternative" venues in Las Vegas besides the main stream clubs?
