WrldStrtman is missing only the Chubby Cherub box I think.

I am missing only 3 boxes, and jhd7 used to have every game CIB at one point I believe.

There are many that have cart only, but CIB is tough on some of them.

Were all NES games sold in boxes? I believe there are some Sachen titles that never had boxes, as well as the previously mentioned NWC carts. But then again, you could say those don't count.

as mentioned in the other thread:
define 'complete'

complete US?
complete US/Japan?
complete US/Japan/China?
complete US/China?
complete US/Japan/Euro exclusives?
complete US/Japan/China/Euro exclusives?

As Nintendo states on their Japan websites:
Whole NES collection has a complete cart range of 2200 games

Nobody counts PAL games except people from Europe.

Tom: this is not Japan, this is the US and I am fairly certain he meant games released in North America.

The Sachen games really do not count, 90% of them were NOT sold in the USA, just imports of 72 PIN games lately.

NWCS are contest carts, other people might consider others as variations, it's difficult to gauge, IMO it should be one of each game, but to each his own. If you count variants, where do you limit it? 5 screw vs 3 screw????

Sachens don't count, but you need both a grey and gold NWC? Ouch...

Personally i think you're going to need all of the different rom revisions for each game in order to call it a complete set.

Screw varients to count as "complete". It gets to where it really is pointless unless there was a basic in-box package and then some uber huge box half the size of a person with a body suite and gas mask included.

IMO, you don't NEED a NWC for a complete collection, It's a competition cart, not a comercially released cart. Though, if I would think that anyone who has a complete NES collection would WANT and would probably buy a NWC.

Same goes for the DKC competition cart and starfox for SNES.

You're not a true collector until you own every individual NES cart that was ever produced. You've still got 80 million Mario Duck Hunts to go.

Someone should make a house out of SMB/DH carts. It might be even be cheaper than lumber...

My collecting has been on hold for almost 2 years now. But I have over 500+ CIB games. My collection pics should be in my signature.
