mario, zelda , metroid and a few others will probably have new games come out as long as nintendo is around. what older nintendo games would you like to see them make new games for. i'm sure theres a bunch, off the top of my head bionic commando seems interesting. karnov or rygar might be nice too.

Well you listed a bunch of first party titles and then only 3rd party titles.

I really think the new "Snake, Rattle, & Roll" is long overdue.

Despite the silly cover, that's actually a very good pre-Donkey Kong Country RARE title.
On a more serious note, I'm kind of surprised they never continued the Star Tropic series.

Kid Icarus.
Wizard's 'n Warriors. Third party title though, but still brilliant. As long as they include the original music...

I don't care who made it but I would love to see Shadowgate! It is one of the greatest that I've ever played to this day. I swear it was the best 6 months of my life.

I'd like to see another Punch-Out game...the problem is it would be for Wii which I don't have. I'd pick up a DS version, though.

Snake Rattle 'n Roll was a ton of fun! Used to play it all the time with my neighbor.
Code Name: Viper
One of the best games for NES and one of the best non-Disney Capcom games at the time.

I used to *love* code name Viper. Don't know if I'd want to see another one though. I mean... it'd just be another genaric 3D action game now or worse! Third person shooter. *shudders*
As for the guy that mentioned Shadowgate. They made a Shadowgate 64, and a beyond Shadowgate for the Turbo Duo.

2nd this big time!
Unfortunatly "all" games today would be in 3d. I doubt you would get any Kid Icarus feeling if its in fully 3d. Snake Rattle & Roll is also a damn great game! Wierd they didnt make a sequel for that one.

Now that you mention it, Snake Rattle and Roll would also translate very well into 3D. Sounds like a winner to me.

Well the second game did even worse than the first, but a good part of that was it being one of the very last NES games ever released. (and the sound effects system was horribly pingy in Zoda's Revenge) I assume with there never being a Japanese release of either game there wasn't a large enough fanbase for a third game or remake. Don't want to sound like I'm crapping on the title though, StarTropics is my favorite NES game of all time and I really did like Zoda's Revenge.
Speaking of Rare, why there hasn't been an RC Pro-Am game in years is beyond me. Taito did good to make a modern game in the same vein with RC de Go! on the PlayStation (and nailed the controls with the analog sticks), but still. Although there have been a few RC racing games in the years since, they've all sucked. (ReVolt comes to mind) A modern version of RC Pro-Am with online multiplayer and online leagues and championships would kick ass.
And we all know everyone wants to see a 10-Yard Fight sequel. ;)

Was Grabbed by the Ghoulies supposed to be like Zombies Ate My Neighbors? I've wondered this for awhile.
Some games:
Adventure Island - Hudson is still kickin' it, what happened to this game?! Is Bomberman so cool he gets to live on?
Arknoid - Taito hasn't made another one of these in while. They should do like Alley Way and put Cloud Strife in one of those bumper things.
Bump 'n Jump!!!
Joust, although multi-platform hasn't popped up lately.
Marble Madness.
Paperboy - Hasn't seen the light of day in a few years.
The Punisher - I'm not talkin about the movie rip, the old school where it's scrolling and you gotta shoot them jerks. Spider-Man shows his face in the GB version.
Smash TV.
Wario Woods - I really enjoyed that puzzler.
Yoshi's Cookie!

Smash TV.
Was just talking about this a couple weeks ago with a friend. Smash TV Live, play online for real prizes, the first true video game gameshow. Ah, it'll never happen.

The Guardian Legend
Just think, a next gen adventure game - Zelda Style - and then BAM! Good ol fashion shoot them up action! (old fashion as in no silly wack milestone scoring machanic - straight up shoot and dodge for survival)

I know there are a ton of new Castlevania games, but I'd love to see one made in the spirit of the originals on the NES (and SNES to some extent). I have nothing against the "Metroidvania" style that now permeates Castlevania, mind you, but I'd love to see it return to its action roots!
