That's actually a pretty good article - maybe not earth-shattering, but a nifty introduction for those who might not be familiar with the landscape. DP, AA and the Intellivision guys all got a mention.

Don't the mainstream media do a "OMG old games making a comeback" story at least once a year?
(Yeah, it is better than being know as the "sex on the rag" site tho. LOL)

$30 for NES Q-Bert? Way too much. I can get that at just about any retro shop here for less than $10.

That was the thing that stood out most to me as well. That guy's collection is going to grow slowly if he's paying $30 for QBert.

Didn't read the article after the introduction which mention the price for a NES Q-bert. It probably really wasn't that much but for media attention the price was inflated. Sounds like an article which goes on about how there are actually still people who play these old games during a time when Wii's aren't seen on shelves and PS3 had mega long lines, launch riots and 3x mark up prices on ebay. So mr reporter was like wow someone paid cash for a game that was probably given away on the regular just a few years ago and now its news.
