Yo SL! Man, long time no talk.

The Shadow was only released on ROM. Even though I hear it was really mediocre (and that was a stretch, some even said) I still would have liked to own a physical cartridge of it. I remember EGM's preview of it in one of their 400 page issues!

Have you played SWAT Kats yet? It really took me by surprise. Then again, it IS Hudson...

Yeah I was just looking at some random roms that I think didn't get released in japan. I thought I saw it on a list saying it was a Euro only... but then a few days ago I saw a list saying US only, so I don't know.

I played the rom of SWAT Kats, seemed pretty good from the minute or two I was trying it out so I'm trying to get a copy (boxed in good condition of course ;) ).

Yeah I finally gave in and started collecting US SNEZZ games. Final straw was Super Punch Out... back n forth thinkin if I should get the SFC Memory Cassette Nintendo Power release... but those things have a battery in them and there's no way to reload the cart. I guess you can try to swap the batteries, they sell them on YJ... but what a hassle. Kinda the same reason why I stopped collecting Capcom CPS2/CPS3 boards. Anyways, I think it was good to hop over to US games. I forgot how much good stuff didn't make it to Japan. Also helps that I don't really see games too often that are left on my list when prowling YJ.... kinda boring when there's not that much left to discover.

About 2 weeks into collecting SNEZ gear and I got a nice little instant collection... a boxed Mario World console and a bunch of boxed carts. Also got these clear box carton protectors... really makes'em look sharp. Wish they had them for JP SFC game boxes too.
