The Logitech Wireless Precision controller. It's as good as 3rd party wireless controllers get.

The Logitech wireless controllers for Xbox and PS2 are great. I've held back from picking them up b/c they're still a little pricey ($40-$50), but if you need a wireless controller now you can't go wrong.

I have a Cosmo wireless pad for the Xbox. Got it ages ago when I started on the Media Centre project. Can't say it's been used loads but it seems pretty bang on to me. It's rechargeable too.

About a week ago, I saw that the wireless Logitech XBOX controller was being cleared out of Radioshacks for $10. It is in-store only, but you can check availability online. This is how I know nobody around me has one...

I know people may disagree, but the MadCatz one has never done me wrong.
