TMNT or Godfather?

I realize Wii owners are desperate for a decent new game (myself included)...but you don't have to sink that low.

The new TMNT has unanimous bad reviews and every Godfather review basically comes back to the point that the game is MUCH better on PS3 and 360. C'mon...a sandbox game with the Wii controller? No thanks, I'll pass.

TMNT was pitiful on the Wii because of the controls. Who thought swinging the Wii Remote a few hundred times with every attack in a beat-em-up was a good idea? If the jumping mechanics used the remote, it would be different.

I agree.

My Wii hasn't even been turned on in 2 solid weeks. I'm sick of party games. i'm sick of Mario. I'm sick of Wario. I'm sick of Zelda. Nintendo's redemption with me is wearing out, very quick.

Wii. The novelty is over....

Let me just say I hate to agree with you.

But so far I do. :(

I've got Zelda and Sonic. I haven't touched my Wii in over a month. My PS3 (God of War 2) and 360 are getting all the play time. I'm sure things will change when the new Paper Mario comes out next month.

I was a huge Wii supporter when it first came out, I was so excited when I got it a few days after launch, well, the novelty wore off quite quickly, I hadn't touched it since December and I actually just sold it to a friend of mine for pretty close to what I paid for it.

Is it just me or does the non-traditional control scheme not work that well with traditional style games?

I am still enjoying my Wii. I play it every other day I would say. People can say what they want, I enjoy the games.... maybe its cause i dont have a 360 or ps3 but I love my wii.

Things will no doubt change, I hope. But after the novelty wore off I never even touched my Wii. It sat here unplayed since Christmas Day, so I finally decided to sell it about two weeks ago. I lost no money selling it, so it's all good :)

Been playing Godfather on the Wii for the last few days. The bad, is that they ported, poorly, the PS2 graphics. The good is it's really satisfying to choke someone to death with the Wii controller.
