Importing a Japanese Wii

Okay, I want to import a Japanese Wii, and since I don't have an American one, I would love to get a Freeloader disc. Has one been made to play U.S. games on a Japanese system? Also, are there any compatibility issues with the online services? Thanks.

Can I ask why you wouldn't just buy an American system?

I can't find an American one anywhere! It drives me mad. I almost got one on launch day... I am not going into that story. Anyway, I am fed up with searching around, especially with Nintendo taking many of the units to sell in Europe. And, I want to play imports as well.

Check Gamestop.com, they have an action replay preorder that may have a freeloader function.
