Interesting article (http://www.firingsquad.com/features/nv2/page2.asp) I just found on Wikipedia while checking out some of the old graphics cards I never had. It seems this event was illustrative for nVidia of the wrong way to do business.

They seem confused about the Sega Pico, though. If nVidia was ever contracted to work on the Pico, I bet that deal fell through as well (unless they came up with some sort of even more-integrated design for the Pico's hardware, which I guess the NV1 was a product that fit that bill).

Take wiki with a grain of salt.

I take your comment with a grain of salt, since this article was merely found on Wiki, as opposed to being some anonymous unreferenced comment.

Guess this one was fated for the dustbin, as people here tend to just spout off with little knowledge of how the game business works (but only when it's something that rubs the fanboy tendencies the right way).
