I found a game today at circuit city that had outlaw golf and darkened skye on it. Just wondering if there are other variations of games out there with 2 or more games on one disc. Trying make a complete gc collection so any help is appreciated!

Nope, that's the only one other than the two Zelda compilations.

Good luck!

Well technically it's not two games on one disc, it's a double case with both games on separate discs (how they were before) and two separate instruction manuals. The only unique thing about the package is the sleeve.

Certainly not the only release like that. There's the limited releases of MP/Zelda and Zelda WW/MQ to consider that came with certain Cubes (still looking for both of those myself).

I know I have seen it before also. The thing is Darkend is a PC game and the GCN game never got any justice at all and Outlaw golf is just a golf game. Both games have been under $5 alone and is probably at rock bottom now.

You might also find a Resident Evil Combo or Splinter Cell I think

There aren't any RE combos, nor any Splinter Cell combos.

There is an RE: Pure Evil, which has two separate cases in a cardboard slip cover.

However, there aren't any "2-in-1" games for either series.

Other than the two pack-ins that Mayhem mentioned (and I forgot those, because they're pack-ins), the Darkened Skye/Outlaw Golf, and the Zeldas are the only ones that I know of.

R: Racing Evolution w/ Pac-Man Vs.
I-Ninja w/ Pac-Man Vs.
Pac-Man World 2 w/ Pac-Man Vs. (only in Player's Choice version)

The R:Racing Evolution w/Pac-Man Vs. and I-Ninja w/Pac-Man Vs. are a little different, don't you think?

I thought they were the normal release with a carboard slip attached, rather than a 2 disc snapcase.

You're correct about the Pac-Man World 2/Pac-Man Vs. though - I totally forgot about that one.

R:Racing is a double case with both games inside (though no mention on the inlay that Pacman Vs is included, it was only a sticker on the shrink). I-Ninja was never packaged to my knowledge with Pacman Vs inside, it was a pre-order bonus only in a cardboard sleeve.

Wasn't there two prints of that? One with the RE4 Demo disk and the other without?

No, I believe the original first copies came with a coupon you could send away to Capcom to get the demo disk back. Came in this packaging:

Mayhem is correct.

HOWEVER!

There are two cardboard slipcovers for the RE: Pure Evil pack. One design has the two people on the front, the other doesn't.

Wasn't there a Monkey Ball box set along the lines of RE: Pure Evil? I remember seeing that one at my local Fry's a year or two back.

Not heard of that one Tony. I know of two other double packs, one with both Monkeyball games in, the other with a Sonic game and Monkeyball.

Ah that sucks, so you had to wait longer in order to get the demo after purchasing it. I did not know that.

And the Sonic DX & Sonic Mega Collection double pack I've seen at Toys R Us.

There were Sonic and SMB 2-Packs available at EBGames and elsewhere; then there was a Duo Pack [with Sonic Heroes/Super Monkey Ball] at Target. I'm not familiar with the Sonic DX one -- can you confirm that with a picture?

Actually, I'm still trying to find the SMB 2-Pack for <$30 new & shipped. Anyone ever see that one out there?

It was from Toys R Us, I've seen it about a year ago.

I could be mistaken, but I think we're getting off the original topic.

Any two games packaged together in a slipcase wasn't what was mentioned in the original post.

The question was, are there any other 2-in-1 games like Outlaw Golf/Darkened Skye?

To which, I think the answer was:

Star Wars: Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike (with Bonus Arcade Disc)
Metroid Prime/Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (bonus disc)
Pac-Man World 2/Pac-Man vs.
R-Racing/Pac-Man vs.
Zelda: Ocarina/Master's Quest
Zelda: Collector's Edition compilation

If you count pack-ins with systems, otherwise not available at retail, then include:

Zelda Wind Waker/Metroid Prime (Best Buy system bundle exlusive pack-in)
Zelda Wind Waker/Zelda Master's Quest (Wal-Mart system bundle exclusive pack-in)

@ Mayhem - that about sum it up?

If you want to expand the discussion to 2 games in 1 cardboard package, then include:

Pure Evil (cover version 1; Zero & RE - both PC versions)
Pure Evil (cover version 2; Zero & RE - both PC versions)
Sonic 2-pack (Mega Collection & Adventure DX - both PC versions)
Super Monkey Ball 2-pack (1 & 2, both PC versions)

It was from Toys R Us, I've seen it about a year ago.

It was not an exclusive.

Both the Sonic 2-pack and the Super Monkey Ball 2-pack were available at retail (Target is where I got both of mine.)

Yep I think that sums it up Orrimarrko :)

Apart from... heh... Mario Kart Double Dash with the bonus disc, and 1080 Avalanche from Target that had a bonus disc (played in the Cube) of snowboarding footage.

Are there any of these that could be similar to the 3 in 1 game pack that you can get for the XBOX that include splinter cell, rainbow six and some other game.

didnt the walmart 1080 also come with a differant bonus disc?

Possibly, but not far, hence...

And the Duo Pack, which I've only seen at Target, and has Sonic Heroes and Super Monkey Ball. I don't know if it's an exclusive, and I don't know if there's also a version with Sonic DX or if that was called a "Duo Pack" or was called something else. Can anyone else confirm this one? I could probably confirm the Duo Pack I know of, though I don't have a scanner hooked up right now.

Unless I'm getting confused here... one of them has the bonus disc!

Correct - there's the regular release (1 disc), and the Wal-Mart release with the red sash on the bottom right corner of the insert that identifies a bonus DVD with Warren Miller highlights and some tunes.

That disc is packaged inside.

I guess I should consult my spreadsheet more often... I do have it listed as Wal-mart. Duh to me! :p
