i've been working on an idea for a special strategy on a game and it would require one of those programable controllers

I need one that you can program a set amount of buttons presses that MUST include the start button, and also be able to put that button on auto (would work with turbo but i'd prefer auto)

I've had one of these type of controllers for nes ,snes and genesis I assume they exist for the psx but i've never found one (admitedly i've never needed to look till now)

does anyone know of any and have any particular prefrences towards a certain type ?

(I'd also be looking to buy one if anyone had an extra, but i'll save that for the buying/selling forum once I know what i'm looking for ;-)

Arsenal has a gamepad (I bought two at Ross) that can be programmed, although that uses the L3 and R3 buttons, which some games might not be happy with.

Radica also, at one point, had the Gamester joystick in their line, which has two independent, programmable buttons on it, but it doesn't work with games that mandate the use of the analogs, especially if it's the right analog, or in combination with the directionals.
