Remakes of Hang em High and Derelict from Halo 1!

They'll be released on the game's content downloader, meaning they'll be available on both xbox and 360 for 4 bucks April 17th.

I am SO in.

I had heard that these were just going to be available for the 360 - I might acutally have to play some Halo 2 again once these come out.

I guess Bungie backed down on their stance that Hang em High is too unbalanced for Halo 2's weapons. Maybe they messed with the weapons another 10 times since I last played. That is why I stopped playing. Bungie kept changing everything, and cheating exploded. This is too little too late for me. I would have been all over these two years ago.

Count me in. I'll probably die a bit, cause I'm not that great, but I'm still in.

Really, they only changed weapon balance once.

I remember them talking about that a while back when Hang em High was announced as one of the maps they were working on bringing back. My guess is either this group came up with a way of making the map work(possibly due to them working on it after the 1.1 update), or it's going to be crazy unbalanced.

Although you don't care much, Halo 2 is still the secondmost played game on Live, so I'm sure these will go over well :P

Nice to see them supporting an "older" game. I'll be all over it.

Gonna have to call April Fools on this one until future press releases.

First: We're two days off from April 1st.

Second: They announced these months ago. They just didn't announce what maps they were until today.

Third: They're going into more detail tonight during their weekly update.

Sad how years of duplicitious websites and magazines have made everyone so suspicious around this time of year.
