Noooo.... CDX Problems, could anyone diag?

Hello all. Yesterday i put in some Sonic CD to play and it seems like my CDX is now having some issue with power when the cd goes to load. Between stages there are two big grayish black bars that appear horazonally on the screen. It flashes for about 2 seconds then it either loads right or just resets to start up again. Its driving me mad. Im going to take it apart to look at it cause if its something i can see thats wrong with it i will, depending on part avaiblity, will fix it.

Its a very sad day today. That CDX was my gem on my sega cake, i guess it just wasnt ment to be.

Any suggestions would rock. I have already tryed to move the power cord around when playing, with no result.

Are you using the correct power supply, MK-4122? Most of the time when I see posts of people having problems with the CD part, it's from using an incorrect power supply.

Awesome but now disturbed. I was using a regular MK-1479 on it, thats why. Thanks sooo much for that. I connected it using the one i thought i bought it with and no problems now. However the CDX is DC 9.5V 1.5A, and i have a power supply that is MK-2103 10V 0.85A, doh i have to go digging and see if i have the correct one. Thanks again sooo mUch!
