All the games should work fine, I would keep them for my 8 year old daughter but the Nintendo system itself doesn't work any more and I threw it out.
I think a dollar for each game is a fare price so I'm starting the bidding at $24. I hope whoever buys the games will enjoy them as much as my son did!

According to the auction, the games originally belonged to his or her son, who died in Iraq.

I've been following this NWC for a few days (someone else pointed me to it last week) . If the seller would respond to me (and I am in Los Angeles) I can tell EXACTLY where it came from. I purchased an NWC from someone already (gold) whose BROTHER was in IRAQ at the time when I bought it, so this should be an interesting one. Of course, it's probably one big hoax, so whatever.

I sure hope that the high bidder plans on picking it up in person. That picture doesn't look right. And even if there were a ton of pics why would you pay top dollar from some obscure auction site with no protection. People are crazy.

I have also e-mailed them with a few questions about this auction, and there has been no response. I'm not putting my money on an auction that the seller will not communicate with you.

Are NWC carts that skinny? That picture also looks odd because of the difference in background. I dunno, but imho it reeks. Like an outhouse.

are the nwc carts narrower than regular nes carts?
the nwc cart in that pic looks to be about an inch narrower than the other games there.

The gold cart isnt smaller than the rest. There's just a glare on that part.

Well considering it's some crummy site where your not putting your ebay rating on the line, and if you've got the money to do so (which I dont) why not bid on it. If you were to win, at some point the seller is going to NEED to contact you. You can simply refuse any funds until more substantial pictures are provided. If it's legit, great. If they wont provide any more proof, screw it. No loss to you in the long run other than time spent in the attempt.

Apparently some people must be going with this line of thinking because it is now over $7,800.

^I went with this exact same thought. If it did turn out to be real, then I'd pay. Otherwise, I'm really not doing myself any harm by bidding, winning, and not paying. I doubt I'll ever use this site again.
But.....seeing that the last one on ebay sold for 5.4k, I put a $6500 bid on this and I'm still outbid. So I dropped out.

Look at the bidders feedback counts:

No one is taking it seriously and personally never have I heard of this site. Looking at other auctions the place seems bogus period.

You may be right, but this could be the best $2,500 ever spent on anything.

There's a lot of known people in there. I wouldn't call them bogus. Eitherway they won't pay without knowing for sure it's real.

Personally, if I was willing enough to pay for such an expensive item, I would fly down and pick it up myself. The cost of the plane ticket is less than getting screwed.

ended $21,400. Some new bidder came in the last hour and pushed it from $7900 to $21,400 and still lost.

I remember one gold cart owner telling me he wouldn't take $10,000.00 for his.
Is $21,400.00 a record? Are there other known ammounts that have been paid for a gold NWC cart?

If this is actually real than this would be a record for all video games.
