Where are you guys finding these x'eyes? I've only seen one, and it was priced at $299.99. That's console only too.
I didn't realize X-eye was that hard to find. I found a complete one in box two years ago for 10 dollars. Still haven't played it since I have a couple of sega cd's. Might just have to pull it out of garage and play.
Weekend deals:
Went to a couple of former Rhino stores and found gameboy and gbc games for 99 cents. 89 after discount. Bought about 140 games total. Still going through them, but so far all but 5 work.

Went to a couple thrifts this evening.
At the first place, I got:
PC:
Mario Teaches Typing (complete) - $1
Figured that'd make an interesting conversation piece.
My second stop was a Goodwill, where I ran into y-bot and jeannerocket. I got a DVD storage rack that holds about 25 DVDs for $2.99. I needed another DVD rack for PS2 games, so that was a good find.

I have been renting crackdown i think it is the best 360 game out.
You will until you 'beat' it. Then theres really nothing to do since the criminal AI is so tweaked to the hard that its not all that fun anymore. I've only picked it up twice since I beat it a while back.

Mr.collection, you forgot to mention what you found with the JVC X'Eye. No, not the karaoke disc, not the JVC branded controller, but the power adapter AA-S95J which many an X'Eye owner doesn't have. Harder to find than the system or controller it be. Now clean her up and USA/JPN modify her. :)
I still need to find a X'Eye controller one of these days. I do have the original AC adapter as well as the RF adapter too. I got mine several years ago at a local used CD/DVD/game store for $20 if I remember correctly. I've never seen one in the wild before or since.
Out of curiosity, where or how would one USA/JPN modify an X'Eye?

Uh, is that a Genesis pad with a JVC logo on it?
I have one. I don't need it. PM me. :)

Pretty good couple of days for me:
Official Gameboy (brick?) carrying case, 1.45
Goldeneye, 2.20
The pictured 12 NES games, 7 bucks
and not as good, the pictured 20 NES games + a console w/ 3 controllers and all hookups, $70. That's okay, cause I sold an NES w/ zapper, hookups, and 7 games for 70 yesterday. I swear, put a nintendo w/ SMB/DH, tetris, and a few other cheapo games up on craigslist and it'll sell like hotcakes. Around here anyway, although I think it has 'cooled off' now that spring is finally here.

I'm at the point where I feel I don't need to buy many more games so I decided to start a little project...for every 10 wins the Pittsburgh Pirates manage (they're the baseball team I follow), I'll allow myself $50 worth of games. The Pirates won their 10th game today so I went out and picked up...
Mega Man X Collection for the GameCube.
I was also hoping to pick up that Konami arcade compilation for the DS but neither store I checked out had it.

They made these for the NES also, only in grey. It seems kinda cool, but when I actually tried to use it, it just plain sucked. Hopefully yours somehow works better. Still, I have lots of things in my collection that suck in practice, so don't let that bother you too much.

Slim pickings from a neighborhood garage sale:
http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u160/Xexyz1337/IM000487.jpg
Only one house had game items. Golden Axe and Super Spike V'Ball, both complete, were $2 each. Raiden III was a pre-order I picked up last week.
Anyone else out there a little frustrated with UFO Interactive's recent releases? Raiden III has only been available at one store so far, and that's most likely because I pre-ordered it there. Classic Action: Devilish, a game I really want, is nowhere to be found. One specialty store had two copies, but sould out already when I got there...

I made the full area thrift rounds today, but didn't buy much. All I bothered picking up was a baggie with the following Game Gear cartridges (with plastic covers) for $12.50:
Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story
OutRun Europa
Evander Holyfield Boxing
NBA Jam
World Series Baseball
Streets of Rage 2
Clutch Hitter
NBA Action
Olympic Gold
Chase H.Q.
Joe Montana Football
Arch Rivals
As usual, since it's a Sega game machine, so there's way too many sports games that end up for sale in deals like this that I am totally not interested in. But I wanted Chase H.Q. and OutRun, so I guess it was worth it.
I kept running across all sorts of great game consoles today. I found an Atari 7800, with the power supply and probably around 16 games scotch-taped to it. I couldn't tell what most of the games were, because they had also taped three Atari 2600 joysticks to them, along with SIX unrelated power supplies to it. Cell phone chargers, printer power supplies, all sorts of junk like that. It had a few 7800 games from what I could see along with a bunch of 2600 games, but they were charging $79.98 for it! If I could see the 7800 games and there were some I didn't have, and it was half-off day, I might possibly have gotten it.
In total I came across two Atari 2600s, an Atari 7800 (with PSU), and a SMS among other consoles. Since I haven't gone thrifting in a few weeks, I guess stuff built up. But none of them were good enough deals to pick up, especially since I only wanted the games really. It's frustrating to find the Dreamcast version of Marvel vs. Capcom on the shelf, only to find that they put Tomb Raider III inside the case, and the original can't be found. The sales lady then takes the M vs. C jewel case insert out, crumples it up, and throws it away.

Not a find but a story..
Blockbuster has a buy 2 Games get 1 Free promotion going on..
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/Chris1/Pocket%20Bikes/dbec354f.jpg
I'm sick,been sick since Wednesday.
I wanted to go take a ride, get some air and poke around look at the used games in Blockbuster and Gamestop...I'm on a own all 360 games thing.
The first Blockbuster up the block had a small section of used games..I decided to leave and go to the bigger Blockbuster over the river..They had a huge selection of games but not these with cases..Lots of really old stuff overpriced and missing cases.
Wound of going to the new(lack luster) Gamestop..Looking at the used 360 games prices I was blown away at how high they are, that I just walked out.
So I went back to the first Blockbuster and grabbed=360 Splinter Cell Double Agent for $29.99(it's mint)360 Prey for $19.99 and 360 King Kong for $14.99=free(spent $53 something.
Upon going up to the register they charge me for all the games when King Kong for $14.99 would be free.(I figured they'd make that mistake,I was ready for it)
I tell the clerk of the mistake and he says,We'll were not doing that promotion anymore,it's over..WHAT!! I say...I look over at my wife who is in retail and then we both say,but you have signs all over the place and even a huge one on the front window WTF!!..He looks at us like he's not going to change it,like I'm taking crazy."Look man,the signs are right in front of you,you can't miss them...He comes out and starts staring at the signs like if I was lying.
He calls over his manager who agrees with us but now they have to go through a bunch of void stuff to get it corrected.(what's wrong with these people,he Cleary stated of a promotion so he knew about it)..I wonder if he was busting my balls or just that lazy..

I didn't get anything today (though I did order a game a day or two) but I wanted to mention that my birthday is coming a week from Monday. I've decided when that day comes, I will go in search of GameCube games and I'm determined to find a game or two for the system I don't have yet. I guess this might be the time I finally get that Mario soccer game despite the fact no one will cut the price below $29.95...

Went to Wal-Mart today at about 12 PM and they had two Wiis, one of which mom bought for my b-day in a couple of weeks.
First time I've EVER saw a Wii sitting on shelves.
Now that you mention this, I noticed a single Wii siting behind the glass at a local Wal-Mart near me yesterday. For the locals interested, it's the one in Clay NY, but I doubt it's still there now.

I believe that is a combo memory cart/region unlocker... so you can play imports on an American Saturn.

Flea Market..
Huge, many vendors..dry on games though..I searched through everything..My Dad had much better luck with what he looks for them me.
I thought I had a find:..I found a stack of PS,Xbox,DS and GC games $3.00 Each(good titles)
This was in them.
http://i2.ebayimg.com/07/i/000/9a/f1/2127_1.JPG
Upon opening the games, none of them had the right games in them and looking through all of them I could not match any of them up-some were just blank CD,videonow discs.(DS cases were empty)
Someone offered the guy $1.00 for the PS case alone but he didn't get it..(not sure if should of grabbed it)
I know this vendor,he's tricky..He hopes you'll buy the games like it is,without checking inside the box then he says you changed it..(he's as low as they get, just to make a lousy $3.00
............................Bought:
N64 System,2 controllers with hook ups $20.00 from $30.00(I walked away-he called me back=dropped price
N64 Excitebike 64 $1.00

Half Life 2 (Complete, PC Version) - $2

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe - $5 (Probably should've waited for one to turn up at GC but I wanted to play it)
I hope that Half Life 2 was never used... because once someone registers it with Steam, the game can't be used by anyone else. Good luck with that. :(
Also, SMB Deluxe is quite expensive, $5 is a steal. :D

Sure you can, it's just a bit of a pain since you have to contact their support, give them your key, proof of ownership (receipt, scan of the game + contents), and then wait for them to send you a new key.
