hi everyone!

I don't know if you tried my Gamepack roms (vol.1 and vol.2) but I finally done a new version. This new version still in beta testing phase right now but I can say it's a good 12-in-1 game.

Because I already released the Gamepack vol.1 & vol.2, there is no need to release this new version in rom file format.

CV Gamepack 12-in-1 could be my next Coleco game in cartridge.

Games : Canadair, Carotte, Chenille, Chien berger, Circuit 24, Grenouille, Icebergs, Incendie, Nim*, Missiles, Piranhas and Smashes.
* : Not the same version as the one released in my web site.

Sounds very interesting!

But I'm unfamiliar with most of those games? What are they?

So, It's a 12-in-1 rom... in BETA testing phase.
Maybe I will have no choice to reduce to 11-in-1 if the 12-in-1 doesn't work properly.

The cart version of the CV Gamepack 12-in-1 seems to be ok.

If you look at the screenshots with this kind of question in your head ("what is this shit?") it's because you don't realize it's difficult to program as many games as possible in a little 32K rom.

Like I said in a previous message, I find some original games in a book named "Oric a l'affiche".

Problems (in time-line order?):
- finding games to be in the gamepack
- translating ORIC graphics (6x8) to Coleco graphics (8x8)
- programming in C the games (programmed in BASIC for the Oric)
- adding sounds, music and a title screen without taking too much space
- having time to realize this Gamepack project
- scratching two great games (Slalom and Autoroute) from the Gamepack (reason : the cart version doesn't work)
- adding some more games (not in the Oric book)
- fixing some gameplay problems
- adding a special MUSIC menu to complet the 32K

And now, the CV Gamepack is ready!

A nice label and a little manual could be nice. I will work on it.

After some suggestions and opinions, I modified a little bit the CV Gamepack. And I fixed two little bugs. I think there is no more bug.

Grenouille - now 4 levels

Need to test the cart version first!
but I think CV Gamepack 12-in-1 is now done!

As usual, Daniel, I'm into any and all of your releases. Tell me if you're selling these carts and how I can pick one up from you- or trade for one.

Thanks,

Hello!

Thanks for your interest in this Coleco game project.

I think I will wait a few more days before releasing any cartridges of this game. The rom still in beta-testing phase.

The newest version is more than a 12-in-1. I added a new game named "Maitresprit" who is a Mastermind-style game. I reach the limit of the optimization this time so I can't add more lines in this project. All I can do is to fix bugs and pray.

You can visit the temporary CV Gamepack web pages to see the actual screenshots.
