Well, here it is, nearing completion...I can't wait!

The main reason I'm purchasing this game is Pac-Man Plus. I've only seen this game in one and only one place in my entire life, and that place did not last long. So it's been nearly a quarter of a century since I've played it.

Pac-Man easily looks to be the best version of all, even beating the NES-Tengen version or CV Atarisoft version.

Ms. Pac-man's graphics are intiguing. You'll notice that, unlike the 5200 version, the mazes are single-colored.

This is a case of different programmers having different priorities. If you compare the mazes of the arcade version to those of the 5200 or even 7800 version, you'll notice that they are not alike- the proportions and number of dots are different. This must affect gameplay.

Opcode's version, on the other hand, is exact in that regard. Count the dots in the arcade version, check out the proportions...it's all the same. Therefore, his version, unlike the others (including the strangely gloomy Genesis version), plays like the arcade version. To have made the mazes multi-colored, while possible, would have meant sacrificing this. Therefore, you get a skillfully (splendid, actually) done single-colored maze, which is rounded at the barriers, and has superior gameplay.

Plus the ghosts, Ms. Pac-man, the prizes, and such, all look better, so nyeah.

And the thought of finally playing Pac-man Plus after all of these years is something to look forward to here.

I've been waiting for this for...about as long as you have, I suspect. I think it's gonna be awesome. Not that the unreleased Atarisoft Pac-Man proto for the Colecovision was any slouch, but this is gonna blow the doors off the barn.

I had a similar experience in terms of how long it had been since I played Pac-Man Plus, so I can only offer this sage advice: be prepared to get your butt soundly kicked the first few times before those synapses reconnect you with the vague memory of the sheer number of gameplay factors it messes with. When I first got back to PMP via emulation, I was very frustrated initially! LOL

When you mention the 7800 are you referring to the original 7800 Ms Pacman or the new 7800 Pacman collection that includes Pacman, Ms Pacman and Pacman Plus (and others) in their arcade correct formats?

The "old" Ms. Pac-Man for the 7800- but is the homebrew one any different in regard to maze accuracy?

OK, who wants to sell me a working A/V modded CV so I can play this?
