Sega saturn emulation can be a possibility perhaps?

This is great news. As I've mentioned here before, all three companies were idiotically shortsighted when it came to storage for the Wii, PS3 and 360.

Shortsighted or prepared to sell us "upgrades".

What's funny is I won't pay to download movies to my 360 because of the small HD. Nice going Microsoft.

Meaning, until you don't have to pay to play Virtual Console titles? ;)

Cool stuff :) It was only a question of time tho.

I dont think 60GB for PS3 is that short sighted. Also making it standard 2.5 SATA HDD was also a very wise choice. Now you dont have to wait for Sony to come with a new HDD to upgrade, unlike 360 and Wii. You can just buy any 2.5 SATA HDD and plug it in. Also good that HDD is standard in PS3 so game developers can take advantage of this :)

It is about time! This will help when the Neo Geo becomes a virtual game console.

I'm sure future upgrade$ had a large part to play.

Yea, I mean it's pretty obvious that was planned from the start. All companies try to find a way to make the consumer upgrade their products later on. It doesn't make sense financially to offer a "perfect" product from the start.

Huzzah!

I'm not so sure I'll be able to find it though, I still havn't seen the official Ethernet adaptor anywhere...

Perhaps I'm not looking hard enough.
