If hes thinking about this auction, then no. It also only got 1 offer.

Well my expertise in this area is limited, but it seems in the first picture there are a couple holes in the shrink wrap on the game. I have a feeling that might have a negative impact on the value.

It indeed will effect the value. The box underneath the shrink still seems to be in very good shape with no noticeable wear or dents. Might have some ever so slightly rounded corners. I am no NES expert, but I would think you could sell this for $100-$125 in its current condition. Had it been a gem mint seal, I'd have said $250-$275.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Wrong place to post this question, so don't be surprised if the thread is moved or locked. Just so you know.

There's a buying and selling forum but I think you have to be a member for a few day before you can access it.

For selling purposes you can always post over the forum:
Buying and Selling (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=12)

We also have a thread dedicated to estimate pricing:
DP's Official Digital Antique Roadshow Thread (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=88312)

Other than that you should be alright. I doubt anyone is paying $600 for a sealed NES copy of Final Fantasy so I wouldn't take that auction too seriously, plus it was an offer not BIN sale.

As for your location, sex, age, background and whatnot, go to the main section of Classic Gaming and you'll see the thread:
Introduce Yourself! (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5)
and save us some confusion.

You may find that most of the regulars around here don't take too much stock in Ebay prices. Stuff in these forums tends to sell for lower than the average Ebay price. That is not always the case and you are certainly free to put any price that you want on a game. You just have to bear in mind that you won't get Ebay prices for everything you sell on this site. As you know, they tend to fluctuate and all it takes is for one or two excited buyers to drive up the price far above what people might normally pay.

$100 would be a steal even with the holes in the shrink wrap. I would assume in its condition (by what I can see in the photos) that you could probably ask $200-$250 no problem.

When dealing with sealed vintage games (especially hot titles like FF) theres always an amount of unpredicability when selling, but I would say your FF would still fetch a nice amount (just not $600).

yeah, you'd probably get about $200+ off it on eBay.
