Hey Guys,
Some of you may or may not know I have been working on a retro gaming show for some time. I am glad to say our first episode is finished and on youtube. We are currently thinking of other ways to distribute it but we are going to stick with youtube for now. The shows name is Retroware TV. We formerly were going to call it RESET however we found out that yahoo.com HAD a show titled that already so we changed it. In it we cover classic games from the Atari to the PS1 and a little GBA action here and there since we feel there are TONS of classic game ports made on it. In our first show we cover Double Dragon Advance, Snatcher, Ninja Gaiden for the SMS and even have an interview with Joe about his store. We visited the NAVA meeting back in January and covered the event in this episode. We talked to digitpress members and got in interview with Joes bud John Hardie the founder of the Classic Gaming Expo. That said this is our first show and there are plenty of kinks we have to work out. John also mentioned the JunkerHQ.net website in his Snatcher review and incorrectly reffered to it as JunkerHQ.com. The show ended up being ALMOST an hour log and so we split it in to 6 segments. Please take a look at our site, watch the show and join our forum on the site to let us know what you think about the show. Here is the link to the videos.

PS: We had some trouble uploading some stuff to youtube so you may see in correct links to our stuff on youtubes website until it updates and gets rid of the old versions. That said ALL links on our site are correct so use those instead.

Since you're unsure of how to distribute your show right now, have you considered Revver? Basically has youtube quality, but you would get some money back when we watch it to pay for your production and efforts. Worth a thought...
Now, I'll go give the show a try.

Looks pretty good. Might want to keep an eye..er...ear on the sound when the camera is pointed at the hosts of the show or when layering audio over a game's.
Can't wait to see what else you bring down the pipe.

Kudos. Just watched the first video part 1, really well done especially the opening. Only complaint I have is if you must use faul language don't beep it out, censorship sounds like crap.

Once I get a chance to watch, I would think about adding it to my site if you wish. Ive hosted Substance TV by a Neo-Geo.com user with no issues. I get 5200GB of File transfer per month, with 1500GB of space. Always something to consider anyway :)

Yeah our initial idea was to say whatever we want however after everything was already recorded we decided to take them out. In the future though we MAY not, it really is up to the feedback we get about the show. If we do it will be very limited as it was in this show. Thanks for the advice.

Looked really good, I enjoyed all the parts, and found the flow to be quite good.
The only thing I would work on would be the sound during the segments where both of you talk. Compared to the rest of the video, it sounds a bit off, nothing a coulple of mics couldn't fix.
Good show indeed, you've got a subscriber out of me.

Yeah the day we had did the shoot I found out my mixer wasn't working properly, you can sorta see we did have lav mics but the sound was horrible, we ended up having to use the on camera mic and putting the audio through Adobe Audition to get maximum quality out of it. Rest assured the audio will be fixed for the next episode. I am really glad you enjoyed the show overall, thanks so much for the feedback and subscribing.

Made a subscriber out of me, enjoyed the vids, seeing those games in action again (also made me wish we had a Digital Press store in the south where I live) very professionally done. Enjoyed every minute of it and look forward to future episodes.

Pretty kickass, Ito! Keep up the good work.
The cymbals in the theme song are too loud, and sometimes the background noise is louder than the hosts' voices, but only in a few parts. Interestingly, the natural, unscripted interviews felt more natural than the sit downs with the hosts, which tended to have a few ums, likes, and other filler words in them. Avoid filler words.
Those were pretty minor things, though. great job.

Yeah I agree with you, we need to re-record the intro song and stuff... the guitarist lives kind of far so we couldn't re-record it in time. I am working on that though. As for the sit downs, I totally agree with you. It's our first show we just have to get use to it hehe. We learned TONS from watching our selves over and over and listening to the feedback we have been getting. Thanks for the feedback, I hope you like our next show.

I'm glad that your trip to NAVA didn't come across as the chaotic booze-fest that it FELT like that night. I'm guessing that took a tremendous amount of editing. How did you get John Hardie's words UNslurred? :P

Thanks to this topic, I saw it on youtube via xbmc+youtube script :-).
All I can is congratulations, I saw all episodes but I could not believe you didn't have a tour while you were on DP' store and shared it with us, poor souls with no ways to go there :-p
My first topic "ever" on this forum. Too much time lurking so I had to contribute somehow lol

Yeah, we managed to get him prior to being hammered, he may of been on his way though.

I think the next NAVA meeting I attend I just may have to do a tour if I can get Joe's blessing of course. We actually do have tons of footage of the store now so I may be able to peice one together. Will have to go back to the footage and see what I can do. If not I will just shoot a new tour. Will keep you guys updated.
