Won an item off eBay. Seller has 100% feedback.

Item hasn't arrived in 2 weeks, so I checked the tracking number.

Turns out it was delivered on March 31 in a state that isn't even my own!

I just messaged the seller informing him of this, and asked him to respond. I'm hoping he'll refund me.

Wait, a week and then open a dispute. This is so you can get your money back from paypal. Make sure that it's within a month of payment at the very least. If things are resolved then you can take it down and if not things are already put into motion. Within a week a truly good seller will have responded and you may not have to do anything.

So, he gave me another DC #, claiming he gave me the wrong one. The new DC # was delivered in the same state as I, but a different town!

Anyway, the item actually arrived the other day. 18 days, wow. Media Mail I understand is slow, but 18 days is a record for me. Glad though that it all ends well.

Did you purchse shipping insurance because this is exactly the kind of thing it's for.

As long as he's able to provide a tracking number to PayPal he probably (and rightfully) won't be forced to refund the payment.\\

18 days a record? Heh. I think 10-11 months is the longest i've waited for a package to arrive that actually arrived :)

18 days is a record for me as far as media mail is concerned. In general? 2+ months.

10-11 months? I'd love to hear that story

I too have had packages take months to arrive. I have had them get sent to wrong states and then they have to go back through the system to get to the proper destination.
