WoW! O_O
I'm psyched. The original was one of my favorite games for the PS2... the graphics were awesome, and it was great fun two players. I'll be getting it on day one for sure. Anyone hear if your old save can be used or not?
Major improvement seems to be an item creation system and customizable characters.

I can't wait, BG was and still is one of the best PS2 games out. :D

Am I the ONLY person who thought the game was way too easy? I crushed the Beholder last time while taking zero damage!

Yea, he game was a little on the easy side, but it was a very fun game to me, I am salivating for the sequel!!! :D

I loved BG myself. It was one of the first games I bought when I picked up a PS2.

I love Baldur's for it's Gauntletosity. It needs to be online.
I really like the format of the fighting- real time. I'm just not into turn based fighting- it's a chore. If they could improve it a bit and make it slightly more challenging, I would be happy, too. As is the case with all bosses- the first and maybe second times you defeat them, it's hard-ish. The fifth and sixth times it's easy. You learn their weaknesses.
Whatever happened to D&D: Heroes? I thought that was as close to a sequel as was planned.
As well, BG:DA didn't have enough secret stuff- just a couple of rooms, maybe. I like that exploration thing. I spent a while disspelling the 'hidden drow city' rumor.
And dammit if I didn't spend a quarter of my game time staring at the elf sorceress. Almost as hot as elf Liv Tyler.
