I forgot which payments don't try to force you to upgrade your PayPal account to a premier account. I know that if you have a regular, standard, basic, PayPal account, and somebody pays you with a payment that has been funded by their credit card or debit card, then it will automatically force you to upgrade your account, and if you don't upgrade, then the person's money is held in limbo for like 30 days. I also know that if somebody pays you from money already in their PayPal balance, then it doesn't force you to upgrade, but I really need to go over which payments force an upgrade and which payments don't, and how PayPal specifically labels them.
I know this information is available by using the search feature or doing a google search or whatever, but I was just hoping one of the many Ebay veterans here could break it down for me real quick.
Payments that DO NOT force an account upgrade:
Money already in PayPal balance (not sure what PayPal specifically calls this)
Checking transfer (I think PayPal calls this "transfer")
Payments that do FORCE an account upgrade:
Credit Card payment
Debit Card payment
