OH mY another shot out of the dark I think with the power of the 360 and the live network === crazy fun. People might say dreamcast and ps2 were blah but neither had the power or the network of the 360.
If they pull this off I know unreal tournament is next:)
WHo does the secret beta testing for these things?

Oh hell yes! :D It might be the nostalgia of me & 3 mates huddled round a Dreamcast talking, but Quake 3's always been my favourite fps and this just sounds too perfect for words. :)

Meh....I only liked the DC version because it had keyboard and mouse support. Now if the 360 version has that it will ROK

Re-releasing these old FPS's and including Xbox Live multiplayer is a great idea IMO. Doom was fun and this should be too. It's not like the Dreamcast version has much of a following anymore.

If you really wanted to, there's ways of using a mouse and keyboard on the 360 with this (the XFPS):

From what I have heard it is a poor substitute for true mouse and keyboard support. I wish not because I would love to use a mouse for a number of 360 games (although I find the pad to be more than adequate for Doom)

Personally I can't see the speed and accuracy of this game porting well to a controller scheme. I always played Rocket Arena 3 though, I can't remember if it was signifigantly different, it's been too long...

I would prefer Unreal Tournament, but quake 3 is good enough
