I just found out about Old-Time baseball for the PC that used the Tony LaRussa engine. It has 12 old parks that you can use as well as every team's roster from the 1800's through 1981. Are there any other PC or console games that let you play in the old stadiums as like an unlockable feature or something?

I looked at some info on the game and although I can't think of others like it there are some games (can't remember which) that offer older fields and tracks as selectable places to play or race. It looks as though it was done on a massive scale for this game and is interesting, does it have good game play?

Although I haven't played Old-Time baseball I imagine it is pretty solid considering it uses the Tony LaRussa engine which I have played. I actually used to prefer the Hardball games to Tony LaRussa but I think that had more to do with my memories of playing the older games when I was younger.

MVP Baseball 2004 had a bunch of old stadiums like The Polo Grounds and Tiger Stadium, as well as a bunch of old-time players available as unlockables. 2k4 was the last EA baseball game I've played though, so I'm not sure if all this was included in future releases.

I'm not Sure but I think OOTP(out of the Park baseball) and Pure Sim baseball may have the old parks.

I used to have Old Time Baseball for the PC. I bought it mainly for the ability to play the old teams/parks. The gameplay was rather slow, even on a fast PC. It wasn't that bad a game at the time and I wish someone would redo it on one of the newer game systems.
Edit: I just remembered, it also had a roster of Negro League players that you could use as well.

Man, I was so excited to hear that MVP '04 had retro parks but unfortunately it doesn't have old comiskey. I would have loved to be playing that on my wii right now.

MVP 05 has about a dozen classic stadiums that you can unlock. It also has about 120 retro jerseys to unlock. If you have a next gen system, this is still the greatest baseball game out, despite the fact that it is three years old now.
