Anyone else get suckered into this one? As I said in the end of my review, I feel like we just paid $50 for a $10 game. Ugh.

Out of curiousity, why did you buy that game?

Probably just to review it.....anyway I think this title has been cut to 19.99 already to make up for it's craptasticness.

No, because I'm not stupid enough to play, much less actually buy, movie-licensed video games.

I found a copy for $12.48 at Target the other day...left it there. Seems like I made a wise choice.

Kudos. I did the same. It did take some internal struggle... (hey, it's only $13. etc.)

Reading the review, I think it was for his five year old.

I'm kind of confused, though. Flack "just paid $50" for it and scooterb23 passed it up for $13? Is the one for $13 actually a Game Cube version or is that also a Wii copy like the one that is reviewed? A huge price difference like that, for what are apparently new copies, seems strange. This is assuming Flack just bought it and scooter just passed on it.

Midway's name is on that game? I was expecting the usual suspects like Take2, THQ, etc.

Hey, I'll let you know that there's SOME good movie-licensed games out. Not many, but there are some really great ones.

It was a Wii version on the clearance shelf at Target.

This was a launch game, wasn't it? If I owned a Wii and had a Target store near me, neither of which are currently true, then I'd probably grab it for that price.

Wow, Amazon hasn't got the word yet. They have it $47.99.

I will probably update the review sometime today. As much as my son was bored with the game, he's asked to play it a few more times over the past couple of days. Perhaps he is enjoying it slightly more than I first thought.

(And, truth be known, I did not pay $50 for Happy Feet. However, I reviewed it as if it were a $50 title, based of the Amazon price. For $12, I would have kinder toward it.)

FYI, Gamestop/EB still has the trade in ANY 2 Wii games to get a new one for free until 4/15. So if you can find a copy of this for $12 at Target and another cheap game you can grab Paper Mario (or something else of course) super cheap.

:)
