Has anyone tried this demo yet? If not, please do so! It's a pretty sweet 4 player co-op (offline and online) mixture of Smash TV's controls and "Three Dirty Dwarves" from Saturn but set in "The Monster Squad" movie scenario with battling Zombies, Vampires, Werewolves, etc. Even has a versus mode where you can take each other out. Similar to dead rising, because you can use any object on the floor to attack or throw

In some areas you can actually use Halo like cars to ride around and the other players can catch a ride in the passanger seat just like a Warthog.

The videos for this game didn't look so hot, but I'll be sure to give the new demo a whirl. Any game that has Smash TV as a reference point is at least worth a try.

The game looked like a lot of fun, so much as to I even reserved it. I haven't even done any research on it though.

Played the demo last week and hated it. It had so much promise, but just felt really sloppy overall. Maybe I'll give it another go, but I didn't like what I played.

I concur, the whole thing felt sloppy and unimaginative. The characters were straight-up cliches, the voice acting was annoying and repetitive and the control and visuals were abysmal. When it's hard to see what you're doing on a decent-sized LCD in 720p, you need to finish up level 3 and tighten up the graphics a little bit (http://youtube.com/watch?v=EG8nv9EFgy0) before you even think about plopping that turd out for all to see and attempt to "play."

It feels like a bastard mix of the sublime Smash TV and the deeper Baldur's Gate series that won't end up pleasing anyone. It's like they remade the mediocre Hunter: the Reckoning series for tweens.

I was hoping this game would be the spiritual successor to Zombies Ate My Neighbors, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I tried out the demo, and the playability of the game just seemed too hectic and scatterbrained. Couldn't get with it.

I agree, this game was half-ass and doesn't even look like 360 game upon the 2nd time I played it (looks more like an original Xbox game). The voice acting and cheesy cliches are downright annoying.

Also, keep in mind that this game will retail for $59.99...a sure sign of failure. $39.99 seems a little more appropriate to me.

I listen to major nelsons podcast, he interviewed someone who worked on this game. They said it was gonna be an arcade title until they decided that it needed online mode and then they said it had too much content so they had to go the full retail price.

I tried demo, online mostly with a friend. Controls are really sloppy, and the camera in CTF mode is downright unplayable.....I had such high hopes for this game...

Exactly what my thoughts on the game are. Such promise, too. The sloppy controls are what killed it for me...

Hell, when they first announced this game I thought it was going to be a live arcade game. Wasn't it originally announced as such too? ;/

This game is alright, I agree with the crazy camera angles and the controls being odd, But overall, It'll be a nice rental. (And i'll buy it when it is $5 just because there are zombies in it)

(BTW, Does this game remind you of Cel Damage and Zombies ate my neighbors?)

I see all those as huge bonuses. Let's face it cheese is what a game like this should be about. Unfortunately the controls suck, camera sucks, lighting sucks, fuck everything sucks. Give me Zombies ate my Neighbours.
