I'm nor sure about Game Gear, but I think you can still get Game Boy cases from Nintendo's online store.

I've recently purchased plastic covers for my Gameboy, Gamegear, and GBA games on Ebay. There was quite a few auctions for these items at the time. I would be surprised if there was no more.

That's where I buy all my Game Boy cases (as well as Gamecube cases).

I used to think sleeves/dustcaps/cases were hard to find until recently. There is a store nearby that sells em all, 4 for a dollar.

Ebay's a good source, every time I need some I can always find them (though admittedly that hasn't been for a while now).

GameStop and EB sell used Game Boy cases for around a buck or so - I don't remember the exact price, but it wasn't more than a buck.

My local EB has a bunch of 'em used for about a buck each -- a little pricey if you need quite a few of them, though.

Try the Buying and Selling forum here, I bet you would have luck with that.

I've seen at least two or three threads recently that had some of those and that is just in the past month or so.

I just sold my Game Gear a couple of days ago to someone here on the forums, so I don't have anything to play my games in anymore. I might have three cases if you have some knick knack type of stuff to trade.

Yeah, they're all the official sleeves from Nintendo. Black/Nintendo-marked NES sleeves, SNES dustcaps, game boy classic cases. I was amazed too.
I guess the point is that if you run a retro game store, you're swimming in them. Don't spend too much money on them, in other words.
