ok so my last topic about this went way off topic so im posting a new one please dont go off topic and just help me out with this please?


HERE UNDER THIS IS MY MESSEGE I NEED IT ANSWERED PLEASE DONT GO OFF TOPIC!


Ok im under 18 and im tight for money my dad likes working with wood and hardware and i love classic video games i was thinking about making an arcade cabnet with a custom wood cabnet sides and fronts and put a mounted monitor in it and hook my NES into that so the system is hooked up to the monitor then i take apart a controller or get a NES arcade stick [ if there is such a thing] and put it under infront of the monitor were the joystick usualy goes


in other words i put a tv inside a custom made arcade cabnet rewire the controller to make it like a arcade controller and hook my NES up to the monirer and controller?

Maybe you could use an NES advantage stick for the controller.

How the hell did it go off topic? People gave advice and said go for it and showed pictures. Did you need HELP with this? because you didn't ask for help. Learn to write correct sentences if thats what you're going for.

What you have is a really easy project...

there ARE arcade sticks for the NES, the official one is called the NES advantage. If you want real arcade parts, byoac.com has tutorials. BYOAC.com also has alot of tutorials and pictures for reference on building a cabinet. It's really simple actually. Especially since you're just using a NES.

So...you want to stand up in front of a TV to play NES games on NES joysticks?

I'd say just try to find a cheapo cab.

get an xbox, soft mod the xbox, put all the roms for NES on the xbox. No cart switching..
