From what I can find, the slimline PStwo only received a Ceramic White colour scheme in Japan, and it was a limited release.

Does anyone know what revision of the PStwo motherboard is inside the white consoles? Is it a version 12, 13, or 14? I'm not too up on the PS2 scene, but from what I understand, the v12 has a dodgy laser that dies? So I'm after a v13 as it still has the points to hook up a HDD......

Alternatively, does anyone know where to find white PStwo replacement cases? I can find them in transparent blue, pink or orange, but no standard white coloured ones.

EDIT: Ok, so I've checked over on Play-Asia and they have Ceramic White units listed as SCPH-77000CW, meaning a new v15 MoBo. I thought the CW units had been around longer than that? So does this mean that the CW units that PA have are now standard stock items, and there's an older (originally limited) version of the CW?

mine is a SCPH-77000 and it is white. Play-asia also has sliver and pink 77000 systems so these are not limited edition PS2s. So that would mean that yes there are older versions of this color that the limited additions are a part of. I think that sony is taking a page from nintendo and doing many different colors (n64, gamecube) for their PS2. For the cases try modchip.com
