My Nintendo Wii Blacked Out

So like the title says at about 3:00am this morning the power went out in my house. So the red light went off and wont come back on. I didnt notice this till about 30 minutes ago when I was going to play my Wii. I unplugged the system and replugged in the cables. I got nothing so uhm guys what can be done? My Wii wont turn on so some help will be greatful. I tried looking around the net but I havent found anything yet. Any ideas on what to do will be appreciated? Thanks!

Did you try plugging something else in the socket to make sure the socket's ok?

do this, check your breakers. Plug your wii in another socket.

If you were using a surge protector I'd think you'll be ok.

Does wii have an external reset button, or an internal fuse?

K, guys...good news. I unhooked the Wii for about 30 minutes or so. Then I plugged it back in hoping it would boot back up. It booted back up...thank God. Yay! :)

I'am not using any serge protector. Oh and I tried the reset button the first time and nothing happened.

You might wanna pick up a surge protector. I have one on my computer, as well as tv's and other electronics.

Anyway, I've heard of four different people having the same problem with their wii's this week. Seems to be general concensus that UNplugging and letting them sit for a while has been the "fix".
