ok so the virtual boy has 2 screens. the left side and the right side right?

anyways the left side works great no issues at all, but the damn right side is blank. this problem makes it extremely hard to play.

does anyone know how to fix this??

It's been a while since I read-up on repairing VB's but I don't think it's an easy fix. Virtual-boy.org might have some useful info though.

This happens all too often with Virtual Boys. I've got 4 headsets and only one has two screens that work perfectly. The other three each have screen problems (one has no working screens, the others have one working screen).
If you figure out what to do to fix it, post it here.

Yeah, that's my site. It does work well for most display problems, although usually the displays are just glitchy, not completely blank. Most problems are caused by the flex cable peeling away from the display PCB, which this reheats the glue and resticks the cable.

Its a great site, nice work with it. I stumbled on it a few months back when I was looking for a fix for one of my eye pieces. I still haven't gotten around to trying it out yet, probably because I decided I hate the system. Oh well, one of these days I'll take a crack at it.
