I went to the first garage sale of the season and I found a bunch of games and this version of Brain Age. The case has a gold sticker on it saying A Gift From Nintendo GDC 2006 and in the case with the manual is a note from Satoru Iwata thanking developers and attendees. The cart also says Property of Nintendo not fore resale. Does anyone have a clue where this came from.

Since it says GDC 2006 i would guess GDC 2006 hehe ;)

Ye, no doubt, a really cool find :) I think anyone would have payed $10 for this, its a great price!

wow I can't believe anyone would actually give that away. That’s the most prized possession in my collection, mostly because it reminds me of the most inspirational speeches I’ve ever heard in the game industry. This was given as a gift from Iwata (who was the speaker) to everyone that attended his keynote during Game Developers Conference’06.
Definitely an amazing find, as there really aren’t many of those floating around.

Search Dp there are other theads about this. Hard to find with the paper last I check they sold in the $70 range.
