I went by them today to see if I could find anything worthwhile to add to my pile. I found in the GC section a case for Sega NCAA Basketball 2K3 (picture of a black player on cover). Since it was a recalled version, I thought I'd try and get the game while I had the chance. Guess what, they don't have the game disc. What kind of moron buys a GC game and leave behind the case and manual??? And what kind of moron that was running the cash register that didn't make sure the game case went with the game disc someone got???

I tried to keep the case anyway but the salesperson insisted they only give the GC case with game. >:( >:( >:(

Almost snagged a $20 rare game, and I could have 5-figered that case & manual but I left it there because I didn't feel like arguing with that idiot. If you want to try your luck, it's in Flint, at Funcoland store off Linden road near Toys R Us, across from Genessee Valley Mall.

Who was it? I used to work there, making sure everything was in it's place & alphabetized. This kind of shit didn't happen when I was there (else all the boys got an earful) After I get back in June, you shouldn't have a problem though.

In the mid-90s when the SNES was still around I went to Funcoland occasionally to get used games. Only a few times--they RARELY had manuals or boxes. I was able to get some Genny games complete, but it's random. I have to ASK specifically for box or manual. SCREW them. :smash: They're the CD Warehouse of video games. I think most 2nd hand places are like that--take any crap, don't care about quality, etc.
I'd like to see more brick and mortar stores that specialize in 2nd hand but have higher standards, but you have to compete for retail space with the chains, and city planners who plan strip mall retail space gravitate towards that crap...

I didn't get his name as I was rather fuming but I think it was Sean. If I see him again, I'll write down his name.
